In this game there is drastic change that he will no longer use his signature move that is Double-chained blade and instead of that he is going to use magical battle axe which is named as Leviathan Axe which can be mixed with elemental abilities and can be thrown at enemies. The axe can be plunge in ice where Kratos can attack his enemy and through his magical power he can summon it back to his hand. Kratos will also be able to make the axe to let out a burst of energy that will damage all the nearby enemies. Main Character, Kratos will also have a hand to hand combat, a feature originally introduced in Ascension.
Over the timelapse of this game, Kratos son-Atereus help his dad in combat, travesal, exploration, and puzzle solving. When there is large enemies, they both fight bravely and furiously where Atereus fight with slower and weaker enemies while his dad-Kratos,fight with the stronger one. The game is planned in such a way that Atereus will notbe burdern to his father and the game and the game is going to be loved by all the people across the globe.
This game features single player mode only which is different from the series of god of war.Also this features elements to role playing games(RPG) such a archery knowledge and spartan rage ability during battle.
